Lessons Learned: Are You Throwing Gold Down The Drain

I want you to imagine that you have a valuable piece of gold. And out of love you’ve decided you wanted to share it with someone who you think really needs it.

What would you say is the wisest thing to do?

Option 1: Give them the whole thing and leave nothing for yourself?

Or Option 2: give them a tiny piece to see how they will utilise it? Are they going to come back with something greater and bigger? Have they transformed that piece of gold into the double?

Take your time to think……….

I guess, you’ve most likely chosen option 2. If not, that’s ok. Hear me out.

Imagine you witnessed this person taking the piece of gold, and they threw it down the drain, then they came back for more gold, will you give them more?

Obviously not.

Knowledge is worth more than gold. The knowledge you gain through life experience is worth energy, time, days, months probably years of trial and error. If some one dumped their problems on you seeking help, ans you have the tool and advice that will bring them out of it, and they aren’t using it, they are drowning deeper and deeper into the gutter, then you are doing exactly like the same as the example i mentioned earlier. Giving out gold to someone who throws it down the drain.

Cherish the knowledge you’ve been granted. It has value. Spend it wisely.

It’s not black or white. This doesn’t mean don’t share your knowledge. Share it, but share it with those who you see have potential, and come back with results, who come back with the fruits of the seed you’ve planted, only then they will deserve to be given more.

I hope this helps.

Please share your thoughts.

Send me your experiences.
