Married off to a hard-drive
You married me off to a
hard-drive.
That gave you status
Amongst your commune-pity.
It meant that
You could stand in front of your God
And say
‘Look what I sacrificed for your sake.
I handed her over to a computer
That had your words stored in his memory drive’;
As if the Universe hadn’t preserved it already
In all our hearts.
It meant that you could wash your hands
From the fear pouring from your palm,
Free yourself from the imagination of
One of your girls coming back home
With a broken hymen
Or with Jesus held in her arm.
You were afraid of the
Miracles
We’d blossom in
The hell you were in.
It meant that you could
Rest at night
Head high
From the whispers that reached you
Your name, the hot topic
Roaming
Between houses
Lingering
On your neighbours tongues
“What an achievement,
His son-in-law is God’s computer”.
Have you rested yet?
Has what you done given you the
Piece?
You thought you’d harvest?
He married me off to a hard-drive
It was hard drive
A hard rive
but…
I’ve mastered all its gears
Its become water
In the path ways
Of my palm.
He married me off to a hard-rive
Before any of you jump
And eat his skin raw
BACK OFF!!!
This is my Father.
The reason why i am here
Freeing you all
From the dimensions
You’ve chained yourself to.
The soul that held me
And caressed my cries to sleep,
Worked all his life,
For me to be the Woman i am
Today.
Even if he hates,
The version I’ve blossomed into
I am the work of his hands.
I don’t hate him,
Because through him i
Have learnt forgiveness
I learnt that his love
was wrapped in ignorance
And that
His protection,
Took the image of wolves,
To quench the thirst
Of his Taurus.
How could i blame a person
Who tried to be the
Human
In a Jungle
Full of Vampires
Who built their Van empires
From dead meat,
Rotten flesh,
And gooey blood.
Before any of you
Jump
And eat his skin raw
BACK OFF!!! BACK OFF!!
This is my Father.
He gifted me the experience of
Prophets.
I became the engineer
To they’re corrupt system.
I hacked their codes
And here i am
Dismantling the equation
Of a fragile cobweb.
I witnessed the shadow and light
Within their movement and through it,
I was honoured to enter
The world of the Unseen,
To witness that
Our Creator, even
In the midst of liars
hypocrites
Is always able to tell the
Truth.
I wore the
Crown of Justice,
The throne rested on my shoulders
I became the Phoenix,
Stretched my legs forward,
And I let my
sea sail me into
The light.
